Bio: Unleashing a comedic storm on the world. Like Katrina, except funny.

The Tenderloins have been making New York City laugh for nearly a decade. Be it through live improvisation, performing sketch comedy or producing short films, the troupe consistently delivers original material that leaves the crowd hungry for more. Friends since high school, this band of unrelated brothers from another mother have agreed on their purpose – to rule the comedic world. Their brand of comedy is raw, edgy and laugh-out-loud funny. Using the Internet as their virtual stage, The Tenderloins are primed and ready to launch a comedic tirade across the globe. Bush isn’t the only one invading Iraq.

The troupe prides itself on making comedic shorts that are well-produced and worthy of forwarding to friends without ending up in a Junk Mail folder. Currently, 10 of their comedic viral videos have won challenges on NBC’s “It’s Your Show TV” competition, and their video “Time Thugs” just won the NBC $100,000 grand prize. In addition, the Tenderloins have been featured numerous times on the homepages of YouTube, MySpace, LiveVideo.com, IFilm.com, Veoh.com, TheDailyReel.com, CollegeHumor.com, Break.com and DotComedy.com to name a few. They have been ranked #1 out of over 26,000 comedians on MySpace for weeks at a time, and have generated well over 10 million plays of their videos since January, 2007. In addition, they actively license their sketch comedy to interested parties.

The Tenderloins have already sold two TV shows, most recently the A&E comedy pilot “I Never Said That” starring Tim Meadows. In addition, their sketch “Geico Guidos” premiered on MTV’s “Short Circuitz” in June, 2007. They have won awards and screened at various film festivals across the country and also have been a top 250 finalist in Miramax’s Project Greenlight. Always entertaining and never disappointing, the Tenderloins consistently create short, laugh-packed gems of delight.

Their performing credits include the San Francisco Sketchfest, the Miami Improv Festival, PSNBC and hundreds of live shows in their hometown of New York City.

From left to right, the Tenderloins are Brian Quinn, James Murray, Joe Gatto and Sal Vulcano. From right to left, Sal, Joe, James and Brian. From the middle out, James, Joe, Brian, Sal.
